Since 2013, Alpha Koncepts has been offering students Illinois Concealed Carry training classes. As one of the first approved instructors in Illinois, very few people have been doing it longer! Thomas Kral, the Chief Firearm Instructor, is the 45th approved instructor in Illinois and 13th in Cook County. In addition, Thomas Kral is Managing Editor of the internet blog www.GunRights4Illinois.com and keeps in-tune with the current events related to your gun rights in Illinois. His passion is unparalleled.
The Illinois law requires 16 hours of instruction. If you’re un-able to do 2 days back-to-back, talk with your instructor on the day of the class to reschedule your 2nd day to a different weekend.

What a class. The instructor was the best instructor motivator and demonstrator. The class was 16 hours of information. At the gun range I had a chance to check out other instructors from other companies. So I got to compare. This is the class required to apply for a
Illinois Concealed Carry License (CCL/ CCW)
This is the US Concealed Carry Association Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals class, which is recognized by the State of Illinois for the CCL license. This is an 16 hour course including range time.
